Since the introduction of the GDPR on May 25, 2018, a number of fines have already been levied for data protection violations in hefty amounts. Compliance with the GDPR is therefore still a highly sensitive issue for companies and it is of great importance that everyone participates and is picked up when it comes to data protection.
catworkx has opted for a collaborative approach with the help of Jira and Confluence for the implementation of the GDPR in-house, which also understands data protection as a living process. The data protection management system (DSMS) developed in this way not only maps the required documentation structures of the GDPR, it also enables the greatest possible transparency of responsibilities for data protection in a company.
Components of the DSMS include:
- a procedure index
- an information system
- a reporting system
The catworkx solution for GDPR can be flexibly used for Atlassian Cloud as well as On-Premises installations and will be presented to you in the lecture by Dr. Wolfgang Tank.
