The Atlassian experts from the Cologne area met for the 18th time on 9 October 2018 for the Atlassian User Group. The topics were manifold: Besides a recap to the Atlassian Summit in Barcelona, Michael Lüer from catworkx gave a presentation on “Jira under load: When the customer wants resilient results regarding system stability in an enterprise environment”.
With over 40 participants, the Cologne AUG meeting in October was once again well attended. Michael Lüer (COO, catworkx GmbH), who gave an interesting insight into the work of his team for an enterprise customer, was also present. He reported to the participants how catworkx was able to convince the management of a large automotive supplier of Jira through load tests: How is the stability and performance as well as the behavior of Jira in the customer’s individual configuration? The special feature: Instead of artificial load scenarios, a real user behavior was simulated. Michael Lüer explained both the procedures and the findings of these tests to the participants.
Furthermore the hosts Andree Lindenblatt, Heino Ophey and Abdelkerim Krimo Khermane reported on this year’s Atlassian Summit in Barcelona. There were numerous news within the Atlassian product world to mention, which were discussed together.
Also guests were Christine Schlütz and Manuel Carlos Lenz, who introduced themselves and the Smart Ninja to the Coding School.
The participants concluded the event in a relaxed atmosphere with pizza and Kölsch beer. The next meeting of the Cologne AUG will take place on 7 November 2018 at the LVR-InfoKom. >> To the event page
