For the implementation of scaled agile methods, many companies, especially in the development environment, choose Jira software in combination with an agile framework like SAFe®.
The introduction of such a framework often involves similar problems that we encounter in customer projects. These include:
- Teams do not use apps and methods within Jira consistently and do not have a common approach
- Team processes do not scale
- There is a lack of common direction at programme and portfolio level
- Teams want to implement SAFe®, but don’t have time to set up and configure
With the goal of finding a practical solution for these “pain points” and simplifying the configuration of Jira, we at catworkx have developed the “Teamworkx Scaling Agile Blueprint” for SAFe®, which will be presented to you in this session by Kevin Behrens. The Blueprint provides a combination of recommended settings and selected apps, and shows how agility can be scaled from the team to the portfolio level and connected to business strategy.
