Teamworkx Issue Publisher for Jira goes Cloud and is now available on the Atlassian Marketplace. The app fills a gap in terms of integration between Jira and Confluence and allows you to create as well as update Confluence pages from within Jira.
Publishing, updating and documenting processes without media breaks, tracked out through Jira applications, has always been a central driving force behind catworkx solutions. In the meantime, such solutions are also increasingly in demand for the Atlassian Cloud. Porting such a central function module, which was previously only available for servers and data centers, was thus a further logical development step.
The App Teamworkx Issue Publisher for Jira enables easy and fast creation and update of Confluence pages based on templates. Embedded in the workflow of an operation, this takes place automatically – at the transition from one processing state to the next. In the process, templates become placeholders that are not only replaced by field values of the operation, but also optionally transformed programmatically.
Typical use cases for the Issue Publisher are the creation of release notes based on version processes or the accompanying project documentation – controlled by a project process. In the context of ITSM, the app can also be used to generate excellent incident reports (PIR) or documentation on changes, for example.
