Atlassian has announced updated pricing for cloud products starting October 12, 2021. Affected customers have already been informed of the increases by e-mail. The prices reflect the continued investment in building a powerful platform for all teams. According to Atlassian, this is a platform with better automation including. “Machine learning capabilities” that should enable teams to work faster and more effectively.
The announcement of the new prices was made via email to all affected customers on September 9, 2021: In it, Atlassian informed that the cloud prices would be adjusted effective October 12, 2021. The adjustments concern:
- Jira Software Cloud: Standard, Premium, Enterprise
- Jira Service Management Cloud: Premium, Enterprise
- Confluence Cloud: Standard, Premium, Enterprise
- Atlassian Access
Cloud customers should expect an average price increase of 5% for Jira software. For Jira Service Management it is around 28%, for Confluence 5% and Atlassian Access 40% on average.
New list prices for cloud products
List prices for new purchases, renewals and upgrades for the following cloud products have also been updated:
- Jira Software
- Jira Service Management
- Atlassian Access
If an offer was made prior to October 12, 2021 (PT), it will be valid at the previous price until the offer expires. Quotes issued on or after October 12, 2021 (PT) will be based on Atlassian’s new pricing.
