With our best wishes for 2022 for you, your family and your team, we would like to begin our first Monthly Update in the new year. As usual, we will inform you here once a month about current news, events, blogs and trainings from the catworkx and Atlassian universe.
We will start directly with two free webinars to which we cordially invite you:
- February 10, 2022: House of Rules – Confluence as a Single-Source-of-Truth for Business Rules (11:00-11:45).
- February 17, 2022: Ready for Atlassian Cloud – Exploiting migration opportunities (11:00-11:45)
Important news for Atlassian existing customers (Server/Data Center): Atlassian has announced a pricing adjustment that will take effect on February 15, 2022.
We also highly recommend our latest career blog article about the career of a successful IT career changer as well as all presentations of catworkx Solution Week’21 on demand.
Our monthly update is rounded off with an exciting piece of news from the Atlassian ecosystem: Tempo and Alm Works (makers of Structure), two of the really big app makers from the Atlassian Marketplace, have joined forces and will be going down “joint solution paths” in the future.
We wish you much pleasure reading and browsing

In focus:
catworkx-Webinar: House of Rules – Confluence as Single-Source-of-Truth for Business Rules
Christian Ritter (Atlassian Senior Expert) will show us how to centrally control and release corporate and business rules so that up to 200,000 employees can always access the “only true” and up-to-date information in our free webinar on February 10, 2022 (11:00-11:45). Confluence is the tool of choice here and acts as a single source of trust in this solution: business rules are controlled and released in a central location and then made available and auditable worldwide.
catworkx-Webinar: Ready for Atlassian Cloud – Exploiting the Opportunities of a Migration in a Targeted Way
Cloud technologies are the platforms of the future. Atlassian has also clearly set its product focus on SaaS solutions. But what opportunities and possibilities does migration offer? How does the licensing work? Which environmental conditions are suitable and what about the GDPR? Our experts Michael Lüer and Johann Krahfuß will address these and other topical questions in our free webinar on February 17, 2022 (11:00-11:45).
Atlassian News: Atlassian adjusts prices for licenses in “Advantaged Pricing Plan” as of Feb. 15, 2022
Career Blog: Women in IT – Part 1: Interview with a successful career changer
Hardly any other industry offers as many job opportunities and career prospects as the IT industry. However, only one in seven applications is from a female applicant. We at catworkx would like to encourage more women to become enthusiastic about the IT industry. In our career blog, we asked our Transition Manager Lütfiye Hofmann how she made the transition to the IT industry as a career changer.
Webinars on demand: Jira & Confluence Expert Talks from catworkx Solution Week’21
The first virtual catworkx Solution Week’21 took place from November 22 to 25, 2021 and offered participants eight expert talks on Jira, Confluence & Co, including best practices, blueprints and live demos. The four consecutive theme days focused on cloud, service management, compliance and scaled agility. All sessions were recorded and are available for you to download.
Ecosystem News: Tempo Software Acquires ALM Works, the Maker of Structure for Jira
Tempo Software, a leading provider of time management solutions, announced in late December 2021 the acquisition of ALM Works, the developer of the Structure for Jira software suite that enables project and program managers to work more efficiently and make better decisions. According to Tempo Software, the combination of the two solutions makes it easier for program managers, in particular, to better identify whether key initiatives are on track and achieving strategic goals.
