catworkx workXout – Videos

That sitting for long periods of time is not good for our physical health and well-being is something we have known since Corona. But in times when many of us are working from home more than usual, exercise often comes up short. But what can we do about it – going to the nearest coffee machine again won’t help. But how do we manage to bring more movement into our (home) office routine? We asked someone who knows about exercise. Martin is not only a valued sales team colleague for us in Vienna, but as a Pilates trainer and sports enthusiast he also knows a lot about movement sequences. We asked him for his tips.

In our catworkx workXout series you’ll find just the right inspiration for a short workout – for in between or during your lunch break. These are simple exercises that can be perfectly integrated into everyday office and home office life. The short, approx. 10-minute movement break in between helps you to continue working fresh and strengthened and with a good feeling. Let’s go:

Lighten up!

Circle, circle, circle. That’s the motto of this video. Martin shows how to promote blood circulation in a simple way. It starts with circular hand movements, moves over to the elbows, the shoulders, over the arms to the ankles and knees and finally to the pelvis. And finally, it’s called combination travel. 🙂 And at the same time – stay loose!

Already stretched today?

This video is all about proper stretching. Properly and regularly stretched, muscles, tendons and ligaments give the body suppleness. In addition, tension, hardening and adhesions in the tissue can be released and the back muscles strengthened. This improves the overall mobilization. 🙂

The tension is rising!

Now Martin devotes himself entirely to strength and balance with his exercises. The result is a high level of muscular activity and an improvement in overall body stability. In addition to the “arm pump”, the “one-leg stand” is not neglected. Finally, you can also spread good cheer in the office – as the “Walking Man”. 😉

We at catworkx also take care of our health!

The promotion of health and the well-being of our employees is a matter close to our hearts. In addition to incentives for a healthy lifestyle in everyday working life, the implementation of a health-promoting workplace with appropriate freedom for a healthy work-life balance is of particular importance to us. We also try to actively support our employees with small campaigns in between – such as external back checks by professionals.
